We are seeking a skilled and certified Cisco Wireless Network Engineer to manage, optimize, and support enterprise-grade wireless networks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Cisco wireless infrastructure including Cisco WLCs, Access Points, DNAC and ISE with a strong focus on performance, security, and user experience Notice period - Immediate - 15 Days Key Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and maintain Cisco wireless LAN solutions (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax). Manage Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLCs), Lightweight Access Points, and Mobility Anchors. Monitor and troubleshoot wireless performance, client issues, and interference using tools like DNAC, Cisco Prime, or Ekahau. Implement and manage wireless security policies (WPA2/WPA3, 802.1X, MAC filtering, guest access). Configure RADIUS/ISE for secure wireless authentication and policy enforcement. Analyse wireless coverage and capacity; perform RF site surveys and recommend improvements. Coordinate firmware upgrades, patch management, and performance tuning. Document wireless designs, policies, and procedures using network documentation tools. Collaborate with the Network, Security, and Helpdesk teams to resolve escalated wireless issues. Work with vendors and OEMs for support and advanced troubleshooting Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent field. 5+ years of experience in enterprise wireless networking, preferably with Cisco. Strong experience with: Cisco WLCs (5520, 9800 series) Cisco APs (2700/3700/9100 series) Cisco DNA Centre or Cisco Prime Infrastructure Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) Knowledge of wireless standards: 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax. Proficiency with RF design tools like Ekahau, AirMagnet, NetSpot. Hands-on experience with WLC High Availability, Flex Connect, Guest Portals, and QoS. Familiarity with Layer 2/3 switching/routing, VLANs, ACLs, and SNMP. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Preferred Certifications: CCNA/CCNP Wireless Cisco Certified Specialist Enterprise Wireless Implementation Nice to Have: Experience with Cisco SD-Access and DNAC Assurance. Exposure to Meraki Wireless (in hybrid environments).
