As a Network Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting network infrastructure, which includes fiber optics, wireless equipment, routers, and switches. Your role is crucial in ensuring uninterrupted service and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include installing, configuring, and maintaining network hardware such as routers, switches, modems, wireless access points, and fiber-optic systems. Performing routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on network equipment will also be part of your job. You will need to monitor network performance and respond promptly to outages, degradation, or customer-reported issues. In addition, you will be involved in supporting the activation and testing of new customer connections, both residential and commercial. Collaborating with engineering teams to implement network upgrades and expansions, conducting site surveys, and assisting in planning network layouts are also key aspects of this role. Documenting network configurations, updates, and service records will be essential for maintaining accurate records. Furthermore, you will work closely with customer service teams to resolve technical issues and ensure customer satisfaction. It is important to maintain compliance with safety and industry standards during all field and technical operations. This is a full-time position with benefits such as health insurance and internet reimbursement. The work schedule is during the day shift with a shift allowance and yearly bonus. A Bachelor's degree is preferred for this role, and proficiency in Tamil and English languages is also preferred. A driving license is preferred, and the work location is in Sivakasi, Tamil Nadu.
