Wireless connectivity - Lead

Role Overview: As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, creating, modifying, and validating embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and specialized utility programs to launch cutting-edge products that exceed customer needs. You will collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams to design system-level software solutions and gather information on performance requirements and interfaces. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, unit test, and document device drivers for ARM SoC. - Bring up the driver and perform unit tests on driver features in the new ARM SOC. - Optimize the driver for maximum performance. - Analyze and fix bugs during the product verification stage and address customer-reported issues. - Have at least 6+ years of relevant experience in developing driver development with a strong individual technical achievement. - Possess strong programming skills in C and Linux experience. - Demonstrate knowledge of device driver or board support package (BSP) development. - Hands-on experience in developing device drivers and bootloaders. - Familiarity with ARM/DSP Processor Architecture, JTAG, Emulators. - Experience with RDK-B, Yocto build framework, QSDK framework, PRPL OS development, Opensync is an added advantage. - Solve complex system issues with problem-solving and debugging skills using Hardware debuggers. - Excellent communication skills. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. OR Master's degree with 2+ years of experience. OR PhD with 1+ year of experience. - 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Languages such as C, C++, Java, Python. - Must have hands-on experience in developing device drivers and bootloaders. - Knowledge of ARM/DSP Processor Architecture, JTAG, Emulators. - Excellent communication skills.,
