This role requires expertise in firmware architecture, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and IoT security protocols to ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of our sensor-based IoT solutions. Key Responsibilities: Firmware & Embedded Systems Development: Develop, test, and optimize firmware for microcontrollers (ARM Cortex, ESP32, STM32, etc.). Implement low-power embedded firmware solutions for battery-operated IoT sensors. Design and optimize real-time firmware for data acquisition, processing, and wireless communication. Interface with various sensors (analog, digital, I2C, SPI, UART, Modbus, SDI-12, etc.) for real-time water quality monitoring. Develop and optimize wireless communication protocols such as MQTT, CoAP, LoRa, BLE, NB-IoT, and Wi-Fi. Performance Optimization & Security: Optimize firmware for power efficiency, reliability, and real-time data transmission. Ensure secure boot, encryption, and secure communication between IoT devices and cloud infrastructure. Implement OTA (Over-the-Air) firmware updates for remote device management. Skills & Qualifications: Technical Expertise: Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Electrical, Electronics & Instrumentation, or Computer Science. Experience: 3+ years in firmware development and embedded systems. Programming Languages: Proficiency in C, C++, Python, and embedded development. Microcontrollers & Embedded Platforms: Strong experience with ARM Cortex, ESP32, STM32, PIC, and Atmel. Communication Protocols: Expertise in UART, SPI, I2C, RS485, Modbus, MQTT, LoRa, BLE, and NB-IoT. Security & OTA Updates: Experience with firmware security, encrypted communication, and OTA firmware updates. Debugging & Testing Tools: Familiarity with JTAG, oscilloscope, logic analysers, and hardware debugging tools. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with IoT security protocols and secure firmware development. Exposure to industrial IoT (IIoT) and water management solutions.
