We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Education Counsellor to join our Australia-focused admissions and immigration team. This is a remote position operating in Australian time zones . The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of onshore market experience , strong knowledge of the Australian immigration and education industry , and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The role requires someone who is proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn. Key Responsibilities: Provide professional counselling to students seeking to study in Australia, guiding them on course selection, institutions, entry requirements, and career pathways. Handle student inquiries through calls, emails, WhatsApp, and online platforms, ensuring timely and accurate guidance. Assess student profiles and recommend suitable courses as per their educational background, experience, and AQF level. Assist students with the complete admission process including application submissions, documentation, COE follow-ups, and offer letter processing. Maintain strong relationships with Australian colleges and university partners; coordinate with representatives for applications, offers, and visa-related queries. Maintain accurate and updated records of all student interactions and applications in CRM or company portals. Stay updated with current Australian immigration policies , visa subclasses, and education sector updates. Support students with visa-related queries and documentation guidance in coordination with the immigration team. Uphold company values, maintain professionalism, and deliver exceptional client service. Required Skills & Qualifications: 1–2 years of experience in the Australian onshore education market (mandatory). Strong understanding of Australian education system , admission processes, and basic immigration pathways. Excellent interpersonal skills, communication abilities, and customer service orientation . Ability to work independently in a remote setup and manage work in Australian business hours . Strong problem-solving ability, patience, and a student-centric approach. Proficiency in MS Office, CRM systems, or education portals. Ready to learn, adapt, and take initiative in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with Australian Registered Migration Agents (RMAs) or education consultants. Familiarity with platforms like PRISMS, agent portals, and international recruitment tools. Prior experience counselling onshore students in Australia.
