Job Description- Technical Skills: Windows Day-to-day system administration of Windows Server environments including Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2016/2019/2022. Active Directory (Domain Services, GPO, security, etc.) Active Directory integrated applications (includes single sign-on) ADFS Services • DNS services • DHCP services • NTP services • RDS services File and Print services File and Print backups / restores SCCM and WSUS, for both servers, manual patching. High Availability / Disaster Recovery Windows OS and CAL Licensing VMware VMware Environment Build Providing support during build and run phases of project Troubleshooting ESX issues related to storage, network and performance issues Experience in the installation, configuration, and administration of components in a large VMware environment including vCenter, VMware Update Manager, vCenter Site Recovery Manager, HCI (VxRail), vSAN. Experience in upgrading ESXi hosts and VM guests using VMware Update Manager. Experience in VM template and clones Position requires an in-depth understanding of VMware technologies, including vSphere/ESX, vCenter, Site Recovery Manager, vSAN, HCI (VxRail), Stretched Clusters, VVF, VCF running in enterprise environments Good knowledge on High Availability, DRS, vMotion, SV Motion, VMware SMP, capacity planning Deployment of key VMware ESX/ESXI technologies, expertise with HA/DRS, P2V, vSAN, HCI (VxRail), Stretched Clusters, VVF, VCF Excellent knowledge of SAN, NAS, DAS,RAID, SCSI, Fiber Channel, Backup to Disk, clustering, encryption technologies from multiple vendors.
