Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Design Engineer / Draftsman to join our engineering team. The candidate will support the design and drafting of solar PV systems and must have a strong understanding of Indian solar standards, codes, and regulations . Key Responsibilities: Create technical drawings, layout plans, and electrical SLDs (Single Line Diagrams) for rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV projects. Use AutoCAD, PVsyst, SketchUp, Helioscope, and other design tools for drafting and solar simulation. Assist in solar system design including module layout, inverter sizing, shadow analysis, cable routing, and BOS (Balance of System) selection. Prepare and update drawings, BOM (Bill of Materials), GA drawings, and technical documentation for projects. Collaborate with the engineering and project teams to ensure design accuracy and feasibility. Maintain records of all project drawings and updates throughout the design and construction phase. Qualifications: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Renewable Energy. 0–2 years of relevant experience in solar PV system design/drafting. Must have knowledge of Indian solar standards, policies, and practices .
