Job Summary: As a Business Development Executive, you will be the driving force behind our growth. You will be responsible for generating leads, converting them into enrolled students, and building strong relationships within the student and parent community. Your primary goal is to increase student enrollment and contribute to the institute's revenue targets through strategic outreach and persuasive communication. Key Responsibilities: Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and generate new sales leads through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram), and field marketing. Attend educational fairs, seminars, and school/college outreach programs to promote the institute. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective students. Sales & Conversion: Conduct effective counseling sessions for prospective students and parents, understanding their aspirations and challenges. Articulate the unique value proposition of our programs, courses, and faculty. Guide students in selecting the right course based on their career goals and our offerings. Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to final fee payment and enrollment. Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term, trusting relationships with students, parents, and channel partners. Ensure excellent post-admission follow-up to ensure student satisfaction and gather referrals. Act as a key point of contact for assigned accounts and leads. Market Intelligence & Strategy: Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and marketing strategies. Provide regular feedback to the management on market trends, customer needs, and potential new course offerings. Assist in the development of new strategies to penetrate new markets and student segments. Administration & Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customer interactions in the CRM system. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports for management review. Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly enrollment and revenue targets. Required Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Proven work experience of 1-3 years as a Business Development Executive, Sales Executive, or Student Counselor, preferably in the education sector (coaching institutes, ed-tech, or related fields). Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Strong persuasion, negotiation, and closing skills. Ability to understand and explain complex information about competitive exams and curricula. Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently as well as in a team. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software. Preferred Qualifications:Prior experience in a test-prep or coaching institute. A strong personal network in the local student/parent community. Familiarity with the competitive exam landscape (e.g., Banking,SSC & Railways syllabus and patterns).
