Accurately prepare and review complex Form 1065, 1120, & 1120S tax returns Research and document tax issues Review and assist with income tax projections and estimates. Prepare and review work papers for book-to-tax differences and apply technical research to client files. Develop a deep understanding of federal and state income tax laws and their application to individuals and businesses. Efficiently review tax returns from junior staff as a first reviewer, providing feedback and guidance. Collaborate with senior managers and clients on complex tax issues, ensuring high-quality client service. Communicate with IRS and state tax authorities on behalf of clients. Mentor junior team members, guiding them on technical aspects of tax law and process. Participate in client meetings and actively contribute to discussions regarding tax planning and strategy.
