The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resource management in the automobile manufacturing unit. This includes manpower planning, recruitment, employee relations, statutory compliance, training & development, performance management, and maintaining a positive work culture aligned with company objectives. Role & responsibilities : 1. Recruitment & Manpower Planning: Plan and manage manpower requirements for production, quality, maintenance, and other departments. Handle end-to-end recruitment, including job posting, screening, interviews, and onboarding. Coordinate with department heads to forecast staffing needs. 2. Employee Relations & Engagement: Maintain healthy employee relations and address grievances effectively. Organize employee engagement activities, welfare programs, and communication meetings. Promote a safe, productive, and motivating workplace environment. 3. Statutory Compliance & Payroll: Ensure compliance with labor laws, Factory Act, ESIC, PF, Gratuity, and other statutory obligations. Oversee attendance, leave management, and payroll processing. Maintain employee records and HR documentation. 4. Performance Management: Implement performance appraisal systems (KPI/KRA). Support department heads in evaluating employee performance. Identify and reward top-performing employees. 5. Training & Development: Assess training needs and organize skill development programs. Conduct induction and orientation programs for new employees. Work with production teams to improve technical and soft skills. 6. HR Policy & Administration: Develop and update HR policies, rules, and procedures. Manage disciplinary actions and compliance with company code of conduct. Handle audits and documentation related to HR and compliance. Qualification & Experience: Bachelors/Masters Degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field. 4-6 years of experience in HR, preferably in the automobile or manufacturing industry. Strong knowledge of labor laws, factory compliance, and HRMS software.
