As a pivotal figure in the organization, you will be instrumental in revolutionizing branch infrastructure, elevating customer experience, and overseeing advanced banking technologies. As the Technology Engineer - Digital Branches, your primary responsibility will be to lead the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of digital branch solutions. As a Senior IT Hardware & Network Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and managing our organization's IT infrastructure. Your expertise in hardware troubleshooting, network management, server administration, and internet infrastructure will be crucial for designing, implementing, monitoring, and supporting all aspects of IT infrastructure across the company. Your key responsibilities will include: 1. Hardware & IT Infrastructure: - Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals. - Managing hardware lifecycle including procurement, deployment, upgrades, repairs, and decommissioning. - Maintaining detailed documentation of hardware assignments and physical asset inventory. 2. Network Administration: - Designing, configuring, and managing LAN/WAN networks, switches, routers, firewalls, and access points. - Monitoring and optimizing network performance to ensure minimal downtime and high availability. - Maintaining secure and reliable internet connectivity, VPNs, and bandwidth allocation. - Ensuring network security through firewalls, VLANs, port configurations, and intrusion detection. 3. Server & Data Center Management: - Administering and maintaining Windows/Linux-based servers, file servers, and domain controllers. - Managing user accounts, Active Directory, group policies, and access control. - Handling server backup, storage management, and disaster recovery solutions. - Performing routine maintenance, patching, and system upgrades. 4. Internet and Communication Systems: - Maintaining internet service, DNS, DHCP, proxies, and ensuring secure browsing policies. - Managing VoIP systems, email servers, and collaboration tools (MS Exchange, M365, G Suite, etc.). - Coordinating with ISPs for uptime, outages, and upgrades. 5. IT Inventory Management: - Creating and maintaining a comprehensive IT asset inventory system (hardware, licenses, etc.). - Monitoring stock levels of IT consumables and equipment. - Generating periodic inventory reports and audits for compliance. 6. Technical Support and Leadership: - Providing L2/L3 support for hardware, software, and network issues. - Mentoring junior IT staff and assigning troubleshooting tasks as needed. - Coordinating with vendors and service providers for AMC, warranties, and escalations.
