As a NOC Support Engineer at ChargePoint, you will play a crucial role in providing technical expertise to resolve and fix issues with ChargePoint's array of Charging stations. Your responsibilities will include defining and diagnosing resolutions for problems, driving the resolution of charging station faults, and reducing critical outages to improve overall uptime. You will analyze, diagnose, isolate, and resolve issues while documenting your analysis in case notes. Collaboration with other service teams will be essential, as well as learning and understanding the technological aspects of different models of ChargePoint Charging stations to ensure faster resolutions. Your commitment to customer-focused support, ability to make complex decisions, and enthusiasm for "thinking outside the box" will be key in this role. You must possess exceptional troubleshooting and advanced analytical thinking skills for resolving complex issues between hardware and software components. Effective communication, both verbally and in writing, is crucial for conveying complex concepts clearly. Experience in driving initiatives, cross-functional collaborations, and maintaining accountability to expectations will be beneficial. To succeed in this role, you should have a minimum of 6 years of experience in a technical support environment for complex hardware and software solutions. Additionally, a background in network engineering, systems engineering, Linux, Unix, Windows engineering, electrical or electronics engineering, or technical support with the ability to diagnose technical aspects in various technological domains is preferred. Familiarity with CLI interfaces of Linux flavors, industry standards practices, operational processes like Incident Management, and ITIL frameworks is advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as knowledge of CRM tools like Salesforce, Servicenow, or Jira, will be beneficial. This position requires working in shifts that span 24 hours with office work for all 5 days of the week.
