Who Are We

: We at Vision Technology group develop best-in-class Image processing hardware IP for the Intel client chipsets. Intel Vision Technology Group (VTG), Intel's Computer Vision Center of Excellence, is looking for an skilled and motivated Windows Driver Developer to join our Research and Development SW team. Our Research and Development team is focused on developing and introducing state-of-the-art 2D cameras that set the stage for groundbreaking innovations.

: You will be responsible for designing, developing, validating, and optimizing Windows device drivers that interface with camera hardware components and media system frameworks. This role is critical to ensuring seamless hardware-software integration and delivering high-performance, reliable solutions to enable our customers. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Windows device drivers using Windows driver kits.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and architecture teams to define driver requirements and integration strategies.
• Debug and resolve driver issues using tools like WinDbg, ETL, and Debug Viewer.
• Ensure compatibility across Windows versions and compliance with HLK and other certification requirements.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and validation planning.
• Lead or contribute to architectural decisions for driver frameworks and protocols.
  

Qualifications

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics engineering, Computer Science or any similar streams.
• 7+ years of experience with Windows internals and driver development frameworks (KMDF, UMDF, WDM, WDF).
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ and Windows kernel programming.
• Familiarity with hardware interfaces and components such as PCI, camera IPs and sensors.
• Hands-on experience with debugging tools and remote debugging techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• A great team player that wish to grow and learn.
  

Additional Preferred Skills

• Experience with audio, sensor, camera driver development.
• Exposure to HLK testing and Windows certification processes.
• Experience in using the scripting languages such as Python or Perl.
