Windows Application Engineer - Dev

Role Overview: You will be responsible for supporting customers in successfully bringing up their applications on the Windows Operating System (WoS) platform and resolving any issues they encounter during the process. Additionally, you will be involved in porting and enhancing applications for Snapdragon applications. Your role will require interacting with internal teams, representing Qualcomm in external forums, and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal dependency are essential. A solid understanding of Windows OS internals and experience with open source projects will greatly benefit your day-to-day activities. Key Responsibilities: - Support customers in bringing up their applications on the WoS platform and troubleshoot any reported issues - Port and enhance applications for Snapdragon applications - Interact with internal teams and represent Qualcomm in external forums - Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams - Work independently to research and implement solutions - Utilize debugging skills for embedded applications on Windows OS - Demonstrate good working knowledge of open source projects - Communicate effectively with strong communication skills Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, with 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering or Software Development experience, or related work experience OR Master's degree with 1+ year of relevant experience OR PhD in a related field - Minimum of 1 year of academic and/or work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. - Minimum of 1 year of academic and/or work experience with debugging techniques Additional Details: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing accessible processes and accommodations for individuals with disabilities.
