Description
As a Windows and Virtualization System Architect / SME at NXP, you will play a crucial role in the company's digital transformation journey. Your responsibilities will include promoting Agile and DevOps practices, guiding your team through development processes, and fostering a supportive work environment. You will have the opportunity to introduce new ideas and drive innovation within the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Act as a subject matter expert in managing Hyper-V, VMware, and Hyper-converged solutions. - Develop solution blueprints for infrastructure solutions, encompassing Windows operating systems, clustering, and various compute hardware. - Integrate technologies with patching solutions, backup solutions, database solutions, and middleware services. - Automate technology stack using tools like Ansible, GIT, Splunk, and native OS scripting. - Design and maintain Active-Active data centers with virtualization and clustering technologies. - Ensure compliance with product licenses and explore technology products for architectural enhancements. - Formulate technology implementation, integration, and migration strategies to meet organizational objectives. - Monitor solutions and define KPIs for early detection of availability and performance issues. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure problems to ensure uninterrupted service delivery. - Conduct periodic audits of existing systems infrastructure to uphold quality, compliance, and comprehensive understanding. - Provide recommendations for upgrades and contribute to technology planning in alignment with growth forecasts. - Collaborate with IT managers and other infrastructure teams to devise reliable systems solutions. - Supervise support teams during infrastructure changes to ensure smooth integration of new technologies. Qualifications: Education & Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. - Possess 15+ years of experience in IT architecture/SME roles. Preferred Qualifications/Certifications: - Possession of related technology certifications is highly advantageous. Leadership & Soft Skills: - Demonstrate strong leadership, decision-making, and team-building skills. - Exhibit excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on root cause analysis. - Proficient in data analysis, report generation, and communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences. - Ability to perform effectively under pressure in high-stakes scenarios with a composed and focused demeanor.
