The role involves handling customer-centric technical operations, estimation, and team management for project execution Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a small technical team (23 members) Use Window Maker and AutoCAD for cutting plans, estimations, and shop drawings Perform wind load and structural calculations for windows Understand glass selection (tempered, laminated, insulated) and aluminum profile compatibility Optimize cutting layouts to reduce wastage and improve material efficiency Collaborate with Sales, Design, DTS, and IT teams for smooth project flow Create MIS reports, technical presentations, and client documentation Ensure compliance with thermal, acoustic, and air-water-structural performance standards Desired Candidate Profile 38 years of experience in the windows, faade, or building materials industry Hands-on knowledge of Window Maker , AutoCAD , and MS Excel Strong technical understanding of uPVC/aluminum windows and their structural performance Experience in estimation, cutting layout, and project coordination Good communication and team management skills Key Skills: Window Maker, AutoCAD, Window Estimation, Aluminum Windows, Glass Specification, Cutting Optimization, Project Coordination, Wind Load Calculation, MIS Reporting Education: Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Civil/Architecture preferred)

Job Title: Project Costing & Production Drawing Lead Fenestration Industry Industry: uPVC, Aluminum & Wooden Doors/Windows Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the project costing and production drawing teams across India. Drive value engineering initiatives for high-value projects. Add value by automating core technical functions for cost-effective outcomes. Review and validate production drawings (Shop Drawings) on AutoCAD for uPVC, Aluminum, and Wooden door/window systems. Handle complete estimation work , including: Preparation of quotations on Window Maker Cost comparison sheets Design analysis sheets Provide technical support to the Sales and Installation teams. Liaise with vendors and attend meetings with clients and architects. Conduct feasibility checks of design and product before client submission. Offer site-specific, cost-effective solutions , including thermal and acoustic performance options. Required Expertise: Hands-on experience in at least 23 core areas of the fenestration industry: AutoCAD Window Maker Estimation Window section understanding Knowledge of: Wind load calculations & structural reinforcement Cutting layouts and quantity take-offs Glass selection (laminated, tempered, insulated) Aluminum system specifications Air-water-structural testing procedures Proficiency in MS Excel, Word , and documentation Understanding of U-values, SHGC , and acoustic ratings Familiarity with full project cycle : shop drawings fabrication installation Key Individual Accountabilities: Strategic: Strong product understanding, team leadership, and communication. (Job Summary) The candidate must have hands-on experience in at least two to three areas of the window industry, such as AutoCAD, windowmaker, understanding window sections, etc. Key Individual Accountabilities; Strategic ; Should be good at product understanding, Team handling, and Communication. Financial; Achieving targets related to quality, and productivity. People Orientation; To achieve the goals, one must have a strong understanding of the technical aspects of our industry, such as knowledge of wind load calculations, structural strengthening of windows, cutting calculations, estimation, Window Maker software, AutoCAD, and related training Knowledge of MS Excel, Word etc Glass Selection and Specification Knowledge of different types of glass (laminated, tempered, insulated) and selecting the correct glass based on wind pressure and safety needs. Aluminum System Knowledge Familiarity with different aluminum profiles and their structural properties (especially important for window systems and facade designs). Thermal and Acoustic Performance Ability to evaluate U-values, SHGC (Solar Heat Gain Coefficient), and acoustic ratings for window assemblies. Quantity Take-off and Material Optimization Advanced skills in calculating exact material requirements to reduce wastage and optimize cost during estimation. Project Management Basics Understanding project flow from shop drawings to fabrication to installation phases and coordinating with multiple teams.• Cutting Layout Optimization Knowledge of optimizing cutting layouts to minimize wastage of glass, aluminum, and gaskets. Awareness of air-water-structural testing procedures and how window systems are tested for performance. Functional : Must be Aware & hands on with Window maker, Auto-cad, team handling.
