Statement of Purpose To design, plan and implement servers and to ensure consistent performance maximizing Uptime. To ensure that there is 24x7 support from the Server Management Group. Summary of Essential Job Functions 1. Deliver 100% uptime of all server infra while upkeep the resilient IT architecture . 2. Site-to-site migration/movements of servers or VMs for all the domains which can be globalized and managed. 3. Work in tandem with our business team to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions for the company 4. Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance 5. Provide guidance, thought leadership, and mentorship to development teams to build cloud competencies 6. Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful design 7. Managing cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines Minimum requirements (Education Qualification & Work Experience) 1. Preferably a Masters Degree or a Bachelors degree in Computers Science or Electronics & Telecommunication 2. Any management-related certification or any other technical certification from GCP, AWS or AZure would be an added advantage. Competency Requirements: [Technical & Behavioral] Implementing, maintaining, monitoring, and supporting the IT infrastructure /Cloud with Linux /windows OS. Familiarity with OpenSource tools like OKTA, Squid, Nagios, Cacti, Chef, Ansible and scripting skills Performs Windows PC, Servers, Hyper-V systems, Nutanix and Linux systems administration. Designs, configures, and maintains physical and virtual machines, (Windows, Linux). Provides level 3 support for End-user computing systems. Performs Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive Administration Services. Performs Email administration Email Services (Exchange Online). Microsoft 365 Exchange administration, mailboxes, user accounts, distribution groups, etc. Manage Microsoft 365 Security and Compliance, Monitoring and Email Filtering. Assist with day-to-day networking duties to ensure network reliability, availability, and serviceability within minimal interruption. Rolls and Responsibilities 1. Follow defined processes as per the SLA. 2. Preparing shift schedule and resource planning for 24x7 support by weekly. 3. Planning up for any immediate production upgrade or ramp-up requirements. 4. Weekly meeting with the team for any new requirements/projects/migration. 5. KRA for the team for every quarterly performance and annual appraisal. 6. Server/security audit preparations for any external client audits and internal audits. 7. Planning and designing of movement/migration of server related to OS and application to a new hardware. 8. Checking and approving the daily task tracker, attendance tracker and change requests. 9. Defining SMG related process for any activity. 10. Attend training/seminars to develop relevant knowledge and skills. 11. Handling any new program server policies or server / services requirement to suggest the engineers and guide them for a new implementation. 12. Managing the shift and ensure that the escalations are closed as per the SLA 13. Knowledge and implementation of open source technology 14. Auditing the process documents logs, backup logs, antivirus logs of all the servers 15. Planning, sizing and implementation of server infrastructure for Asterisk open source deployment. Performance Measures [Metrics for evaluating Job Holders] 1. No. of points scored for each assigned projects. 2. Task tracking performance system record on a daily basis by the respective team. 3. Overall performance gauged by team performance. 4. Technological developments research & new process developments 5. Operational excellence of individuals.

Summary: The IT Support Engineer provides technical support to end-users on a variety of hardware and software issues. This includes troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving problems related to computers, peripherals, networks, and applications. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities: - Provide L1 and L2 technical support to end-users remotely and in-person. - Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, including: o Desktop/laptop computers o Printers/scanners/fax machines o Network connectivity issues o Software installations and upgrades o Email and other applications - Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals. - Perform routine system maintenance tasks, such as backups and virus scans. - Document all support requests and resolutions in the ticketing system. - Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary. - Participate in on-call support rotation as required. - Assist with IT projects, such as network upgrades and software deployments. - Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times. Technical Skills: - Operating Systems: Windows (all versions), macOS (preferred) - Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP - Hardware: PCs, laptops, printers, scanners, servers - Software: Microsoft Office Suite, Active Directory, antivirus software - Scripting/Programming: (Optional) PowerShell, Bash, Python Qualifications: - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred) - 1-3 years of experience in an IT support role - Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems - Experience with troubleshooting network connectivity issues - Experience with common desktop applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
