As an Inspection Engineer at TUV SUD South Asia working in the Renewable Energy Wind Projects department based in Vadodara, India, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) components, particularly Hubs and Nacelles, through conducting inspections, testing, and meticulous documentation. Your responsibilities will include reviewing incoming inspection documents, conducting in-process inspections, witnessing factory routine testing, monitoring quality control processes, performing final inspections, coordinating with suppliers, verifying quality records, and conducting factory inspections of equipment and materials. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering/Technology, possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in Supplier Quality Inspections, and have a strong understanding of wind power, wind projects, and renewable energy systems. Proficiency in Quality Assurance Plans (QAPs), Manufacturing Quality Plans (MQPs), Geometric Tolerancing & Tolerance Plans (GTPs), and engineering drawings is essential. You should also demonstrate expertise in inspection techniques, quality documentation, equipment testing, and the ability to identify and resolve non-conformities in manufacturing and supplier processes. Effective communication and coordination skills are crucial for successful collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.
