HR & Recruitment Executive About Us Willow Gourmet Private Limited (WGPL), creators of the luxury French-style ice cream brand Omm Nom Nomm , is a fast-growing F&B startup based in Bangalore. From an artisanal central kitchen, weve scaled to multiple cloud outlets with ~27 employees today, and ambitious plans to expand rapidly. We are looking for our first dedicated HR hire , someone eager to set up HR processes from scratch, strengthen our team, and grow with us. Role Overview As the HR & Recruitment Executive, you will manage day-to-day HR operations and play a central role in scaling our workforce. Youll oversee recruitment, onboarding, compliance, HR systems, and employee engagement, ensuring we build strong people practices that support growth. This is a hands-on role with direct exposure to the founders. Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Manpower Planning Drive end-to-end recruitment: source, screen, and hire staff across outlets, central kitchen, logistics, and support functions. Partner with leadership to forecast manpower needs and build talent pipelines. Coordinate with staffing agencies, online platforms, and referral networks for bulk and niche hiring. Onboarding & Documentation Ensure smooth joining processes and induction for new hires. Draft offer letters, contracts, and maintain accurate employee records. Manage probation reviews, confirmations, and exits. HR Operations & Compliance Coordinate payroll inputs with outsourced partners. Maintain attendance, leave management, and employee databases. Ensure compliance with PF, ESI, Shops & Establishments Act, minimum wages, and other statutory requirements. Policies & Systems Help introduce and implement basic HR policies for leave, attendance, and workplace practices. Maintain HR trackers, MIS, and dashboards to support decision-making. Recommend process improvements and set up scalable HR systems. Employee Engagement & Relations Act as the first point of contact for employee queries and grievances. Support training, employee engagement, and retention initiatives. Contribute to building a positive, inclusive workplace culture. What We are Looking For 2-4 years of HR experience (generalist or recruitment focus). Familiarity with HR operations, statutory compliance, and Indian labour laws. Strong communication and interpersonal skills (English essential; Kannada/Hindi a plus). Adaptable, hands-on, and comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment. Willingness to take ownership and grow into a larger HR leadership role. What We Offer Salary range: 5.5LPA to 7.5 LPA (Bengaluru), depending on experience.
