As a Whiskey Library team member, you’ll join a lean, high-ownership group building custom tools and apps that power our customer journey—from onboarding to subscription management to fulfillment. You’ll be joining at an exciting stage: we’re extending Shopify with apps that manage customer preferences, subscriptions, referrals, and operational automation. As part of a small, focused team, you’ll have the opportunity to own the codebase, work directly with the founder (project lead), and collaborate closely with our designer to ship features that matter. Compensation Range (Contract-to-Hire): $42,000 – $78,000 annualized (approx. $3,500 – $6,500/month), depending on experience and location. Includes a paid trial (2–4 weeks) and performance-based bonuses tied to on-time delivery and quality. What’s the role? If you like solving problems end-to-end, owning your work, and seeing direct business impact, you’ll fit right in. What does the day-to-day look like? Build across the stack: React/Next.js frontends, Node.js backends, SQL data models, Shopify APIs. Implement customer-facing onboarding flows and subscription self-serve features. Extend referral/credit functionality and surface balances at checkout/account. Integrate with fulfillment provider APIs to streamline order tagging and packing. Incorporate AI features (LLMs, personalization models, recommendation logic) into the customer journey. Maintain CI/CD pipelines, write tests, and set up error monitoring.
