The position you are applying for will involve managing utility systems in injectable facilities, overseeing operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and implementing efficient facility management practices. You will be responsible for leading the execution of greenfield/brownfield injectable facility projects from start to finish, which includes tasks such as design, budgeting, procurement, construction, commissioning, and qualification. Your duties will also include overseeing critical utility systems such as WFI, Pure Steam, RODI, HVAC, Compressed Air, Nitrogen, and chilled water systems to ensure they operate smoothly and meet compliance standards. It will be your responsibility to ensure that all systems and documentation adhere to cGMP, GEP, and regulatory standards such as USFDA, EU-GMP, and WHO-GMP. You will also need to prepare for and support audits and inspections. Collaboration with QA, Production, Validation, and EHS teams will be essential to align project deliverables with operational and compliance requirements. You will also be required to evaluate and manage third-party vendors, consultants, and contractors to ensure the timely and quality execution of projects. Driving initiatives for energy optimization, water conservation, and sustainable engineering practices will be part of your role. Additionally, you will need to mentor and lead a team of project engineers and utility specialists while fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement. Qualifications for this position include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical/Instrumentation) from a recognized institution. Required skills for this role include a deep understanding of critical utility systems, regulatory guidelines, project budgeting, vendor evaluation, contract management, commissioning, qualification, engineering documentation, risk assessments, and audit readiness. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills are also necessary to effectively manage cross-functional teams. Preferred skills that would be beneficial for this position include experience with automation systems, exposure to sustainability programs and energy conservation initiatives, proficiency in engineering tools and design software (such as AutoCAD and MS Project), as well as knowledge of lean engineering and continuous improvement methodologies.,

Skills and Qualifications Masters / Bachelors degree in Electronics or Electronics & Communication Engineering from a reputed university. Minimum 4 years of experience is required for candidates holding a Masters degree in design & development of electronic products, embedded system design, or product application engineering & product validation. For candidates with a Bachelors degree, the minimum requirement is 6 years of experience in the aforementioned fields. High level of experience of embedded C, C++, RTOS, Linux, assembly language, including development of algorithms, flow charts, manipulation of data structures and implementing highly optimized code. Should be able to write firmware from scratch including device drivers, also able to update & modify existing code. Experienced in following major interfaces, but not limited to, I2C, SPI, USB, LPDDR3, Flash memories, Ethernet, eMMC, UART, LCD, GSM/GPRS, W-Fi, Bluetooth, Modbus TCP, LoRaWAN, ZIGBEE & other communication protocols. Proven experience in embedded systems design with pre-emptive, multitasking real-time Operating systems, STM32, PIC, FPGA, MCS-51, MCS-96, PSoC, Ethernet PHY, ATmega8, ATmega16, LPC2148, Raspberry Pi & other platforms. Familiarity with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, and peer review. Excellent knowledge of OS coding techniques, IP protocols, interfaces, and hardware subsystems. Experienced in Proof-of-concept development, Board bring-up testing, Interface testing, System level debugging, Basic knowledge of Digital & Analog circuits and their troubleshooting, Environment & thermal testing. Preferred experience in testing and designing for EMC, PCB prototyping and troubleshooting of complex circuits. Adequate knowledge of reading electrical & timing parameters in datasheets for components. Should be able to operate lab tools: Logic analyzers, Oscilloscopes, JTAG/IEC debuggers, and Protocol analyzers.,

Role & responsibilities To lead and manage utility systems in a sterile injectable manufacturing facility. The candidate should have strong experience in pharmaceutical utility operations, maintenance, and regulatory compliance Oversee the operation and maintenance of all utility systems HVAC, compressed air, purified water, WFI, clean steam, chillers, boilers, etc. Ensure 24x7 availability of utilities for uninterrupted manufacturing. Plan and implement preventive and breakdown maintenance schedules . Ensure all utility operations comply with cGMP, USFDA, and other regulatory standards . Lead utility qualifications (IQ/OQ/PQ) and support audits and inspections. Coordinate with engineering, production, and QA/QC for smooth plant operations. Manage energy efficiency, safety, and sustainability initiatives. Guide and train the utility team for skill development and compliance Preferred candidate profile Bachelors / Masters degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related field. 12–20 years of experience in utility operations within pharmaceutical (injectable/sterile) manufacturing.
