Welding Technician

You will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and equipment using welders, cutters, shapers, and measuring tools. Operating and maintaining welding equipment will be a key part of your role. You will perform Argon welding on materials such as aluminium, steel, and stainless steel based on technical specifications. Additionally, you will be required to provide installation at project sites, conduct field testing, troubleshoot issues, and assist in commissioning services. Your tasks will include analyzing the speed and length of welding arcs for various welding processes, as well as reading and interpreting technical documents and drawings. A technical certificate from a recognized institute in welding-related courses or equivalent is preferred. Knowledge of Autocad will be advantageous. Ideally, you should have at least 5 years of relevant experience in metal welding and be willing to work in a Singapore-based factory. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is also preferred.
