Job Title : Designer Division : Minerals Location : Bangalore Onsite/Hybrid/Remote/Shift Purpose of Role: To support BU Engineering across the division in the areas of CAD and PLM enabling the engineering team in their design work. The role involves creating detail drawings for manufacture and assembly. Creates 3D models and assemblies from sketches, drawings, and other sources. Produces detailed reports of changes to Engineering documents for use in the production of parts and assemblies. Reviews design and documentation to ensure compliance with design criteria and standards. Create 3D CAD models , manufacturing drawings and assemblies for the Weir products and systems based on the design requirement Ensure that the deliverables align with relevant design requirements (specifications, standards, schedule, etc.) and best industry practices/guidelines. Execute projects assigned by the lead as per defined quality, on time delivery & schedule. Work independently on Auto CAD & UG NX or similar Software without supervision. Communicate/report/document technical information with project team and customer. Perform quality checking of drawing generated by peers and provide feedbacks.
