Generate detailed shop drawings and Bill of Materials (BOM) for production use. Create and modify models using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and PV Elite for pressure vessels and structural elements. Perform basic simulation and structural checks using STAAD.Pro as required. Revise drawings based on design changes, production feedback, or site modifications. Ensure all drawings comply with ASME, IS, and client-specific codes and standards. Maintain drawing records, revision history, and support documentation. Coordinate with design, production, quality, and procurement teams for smooth project execution. Job requirements (education, experience, additional qualifications) Education : Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. Experience: Minimum 2–5 years of experience in a drafting/design role in a fabrication or heavy engineering environment. Mandatory Skills: Hands-on experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Working knowledge of PV Elite and STAAD.Pro. Good understanding of fabrication practices, GD&T, welding symbols, and material standards. Familiarity with ASME Section VIII, IS 2825, IS 800, and MBMA standards. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documents Preferred Skills: Experience in oil & gas, process, or power sector design.
