Job description Job Title: Mechanical Drafter – Cement Plant Projects Experience: 2 to 5 years in mechanical drafting, must have experience in cement plant projects. Location: Guindy, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Key Responsibilities: Prepare accurate mechanical detail and fabrication drawings using AutoCAD and SOLIDWORKS . Generate 2D manufacturing drawings from 3D models or engineering sketches. Develop assembly drawings, part drawings, and bill of materials (BOM) as per project requirements. Work closely with engineers to incorporate design changes and feedback. Ensure all drawings follow company and industry drafting standards . Assist in drawing documentation , version control, and record-keeping. Collaborate with fabrication or production teams for technical drawing clarifications. Must-Have Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D) for detail drafting and annotation. Hands-on experience in SOLIDWORKS (3D) for modelling and creating manufacturing drawings.
