Job Description
Ø Understand the engineering drawings and specifications to plan layout, assembly and welding operations.
Ø Take accurate measurements and make calculations to complete the job.
Ø Lay out and position parts and assemblies according to the specifications.
Ø Weld components and assemblies using welding equipment.
Ø Test the welded surfaces for tolerance, weld quality and conformance to specifications.
Ø Fabricate based on the specifications and drawings using hand tools, machine tools and welding equipment
