Job Description

Role & responsibilities Perform TIG and MIG welding on aluminum and stainless steel materials to assemble capacitor can components with high precision. Maintain strict adherence to welding procedures and specifications to ensure strong, durable, and aesthetically clean welds. Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings , and technical specifications to understand welding requirements and the dimensions of parts to be welded. Prepare materials by cleaning, grinding, and polishing metal surfaces to ensure that they are free of contaminants and ready for welding. Inspect welds for defects such as cracks, porosity, and misalignment, and ensure that weld quality meets the companys standards. Set up and operate welding machines (MIG, TIG, and plasma cutters) to execute welds accurately. Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) including welding helmets, gloves, and fire-resistant clothing. Keep the welding station organized and ensure that tools, materials, and equipment are stored properly and are in good working condition. Work closely with the production supervisor and other team members to meet production deadlines and resolve any issues related to welding or material handling Participate in training programs as required to improve technical skills and welding certifications.
