As a Structural Designer at Hanwha Ocean, you will be responsible for conducting structure design and drafting for Topside facilities in FPSO/FLNG or Offshore facilities under the supervision of Principal/Lead Engineers or Principal/Lead Designers. Your expertise in the Offshore Oil & Gas Industry will be essential as you work on detailed structure designs such as connection details, weld details, and Tertiary standards. Proficiency in 3D modeling tools like AVEVA/E3D/PDMS and 2D AutoCAD will be required to excel in this role. You will play a key role in supporting Hanwha Ocean's engineering teams across the globe including the USA, the Netherlands, Singapore, Korea, and more, by providing design and drafting support for various projects in the offshore sector. Your responsibilities will include preparing structure drawings, detailing, and 3D modeling, as well as developing a Structure Design Database in the Engineering Management Platform. Participation in model reviews and ensuring the accuracy of As-Built Structural drawings and 3D models will be crucial aspects of your role. To be successful in this position, you should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the offshore or onshore oil and gas industry with a focus on steel structures. Proficiency in Structure Design Tools such as AutoCAD, AVEVA/E3D/PDMS is required. An ITI/Draftsmanship/Diploma in engineering (preferably Civil) or an equivalent qualification is necessary. Strong communication skills, both oral and written, along with the ability to work collaboratively with co-workers and manage multiple priorities will be essential for excelling in this role.
