You are a skilled and detail-oriented Wire Electrical Discharge Machining (WEDM) Technician looking to join our team at CONVERGIX Automation Solutions in Hyderabad, India. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CONCORD Wire EDM machines to manufacture precision parts, interpreting engineering drawings, programming and operating WEDM machines using G-code or CAM software, monitoring machining operations, conducting first article inspections, and collaborating with design and quality teams to optimize machining processes. As a WEDM Technician, you will need to have a Diploma in Mechanical/Tool Engineering, a minimum of 4+ years of experience in Wire EDM operations and programming, proficiency in reading technical drawings and applying GD&T, skills in using precision measuring instruments, familiarity with sine table setup for angular machining, knowledge of CAM software and CNC/WEDM programming, and a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. In addition to technical qualifications, you should be physically able to stand, walk, sit, use hands to feel objects, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required for the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
