As an Entertainment & Vendor Management Manager, your role involves handling end-to-end coordination of entertainers, artists, and event vendors for wedding projects. You should have a strong network within the industry, excellent negotiation skills, and a passion for creating immersive wedding experiences. Key Responsibilities: - Curate entertainment concepts based on client briefs and event themes. - Source and manage performers such as musicians, DJs, live bands, folk artists, dancers, and celebrity acts. - Coordinate with technical and production teams to fulfill artists requirements (sound, stage, lighting, etc.). - Draft entertainment schedules and ensure smooth execution on the event day. - Liaise with talent managers and artists for contracts, rider fulfillment, travel, and hospitality. Vendor Management: - Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors across categories: decor, production, AV, tech, lights, sound, and special effects. - Maintain and regularly update vendor database with pricing, contacts, service history, and performance feedback. - Negotiate rates, contracts, and terms with vendors while ensuring quality and timely delivery. - Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to manage deliverables as per timelines and design briefs. On-Ground Event Support: - Be present during pre-event setups and show days for coordination and supervision. - Troubleshoot real-time challenges and ensure contingency plans are in place. - Ensure all entertainment and vendor elements are aligned with client expectations and creative direction. Production Planning & Management Plan, schedule, and manage production activities for wedding décor and fabrication units. Interpret design briefs from the creative team and convert them into actionable production plans. Allocate resources, materials, and manpower efficiently for each event project. Ensure on-time production and delivery according to event timelines. 2. Team & Workflow Management Supervise carpenters, fabricators, painters, electricians, and other workshop staff. Conduct daily production meetings to track progress and resolve bottlenecks. Coordinate with the operations and logistics teams for smooth dispatch and setup. 3. Quality & Process Control Implement quality control measures to ensure superior finish and safety standards. Inspect work at various stages of production to maintain consistency and accuracy. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in the workshop area. 4. Cost & Inventory Management Monitor material consumption, wastage, and procurement needs. Optimize production costs while maintaining quality. Coordinate with vendors and procurement for raw materials and outsourcing when needed. 5.
