We're Fig Advisory - a fast-growing Australian consulting and outsourcing firm. As we scale up our marketing and digital delivery capabilities, were looking for a Website Developer with strong experience in WordPress, on-page SEO, and cross-platform optimisation. This role isnt just about building websites. Its about creating digital infrastructure that performs — fast, mobile-first, SEO-strong, and conversion-focused. You’ll work with a cross-functional team of designers, marketers, and operations staff supporting Australian businesses across multiple industries. Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain responsive WordPress websites Implement and optimise on-page SEO (headings, schema, image optimisation, etc.) Work with designers and marketers to execute CRO (conversion rate optimisation) strategies Maintain website performance (page speed, hosting, uptime, plugins) Ensure cross-browser and mobile compatibility Monitor and resolve bugs, errors, and security issues Manage backups and basic site admin processes What We're Looking For: 1–4 years of WordPress development experience Strong understanding of HTML/CSS, PHP, and responsive design principles Hands-on experience with Yoast SEO, Google Search Console, and analytics tools Knowledge of site speed optimisation, GTMetrix, and image compression tools Ability to troubleshoot and solve layout, speed, and SEO issues Familiarity with custom themes, plugins, and page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, etc.) Bonus: experience in WooCommerce, Shopify, or cross-platform CMS migrations Soft Skills & Culture Fit: Detail-oriented, proactive, and highly accountable Able to manage multiple projects with fast turnaround Strong communication and collaboration skills Comfortable working with teams across India, the Philippines, and Australia Must be based in or willing to relocate to Mohali Why Join Fig Advisory: Work with an Australian-led company on global projects Be part of a growing in-house digital team with direct exposure to strategy No fluff.
