Are you a visually driven Shopify expert ready to optimize global e-commerce presence We are seeking a Shopify Storefront Assistant to build, manage, and enhance high-converting Shopify Plus sites across various countries including the UK, USA, India, and Germany. Your primary responsibility will be serving as the technical lead for our online brand appearance. You will be tasked with integrating UX best practices, strong SEO techniques, and visually appealing design elements to create exceptional shopping experiences for our customers. In this role, you will: - Manage multiple Shopify Plus storefronts globally, including daily maintenance tasks such as updating banners, collections, and page layouts. - Design and test high-converting landing pages using tools like PageFly or GemPages, and implement A/B testing and CRO strategies. - Ensure consistent and premium brand experience across all global storefronts by adapting content to local market nuances and supporting localization efforts. - Organize product listings and collections for consistency and SEO optimization. - Implement on-page SEO, address technical issues related to site speed and crawlability, and ensure proper localization. - Track web metrics such as conversion rate and bounce rate to inform strategy and align Shopify updates with company goals. To qualify for this role, you should have: - At least 3 years of hands-on experience in building and managing Shopify Plus storefronts. - Strong knowledge of Shopify themes, Liquid code, metafields, and custom blocks. - Deep understanding of e-commerce UX, SEO, CRO, and design best practices. - Ability to independently build pages using Shopifys theme customizer and third-party page builders. - Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Hotjar. - A keen visual eye for layout, typography, and conversion optimization. - Experience in direct-to-consumer (DTC) beauty/wellness industry is a plus. - Proficiency in working with global store structures. Nice to have skills include familiarity with Shopify Scripts/Functions, Shopify Markets, light front-end development skills (HTML/CSS/JavaScript), and prior experience in website localization. A Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) in International Marketing is preferred. - 5-6 years of marketing experience, particularly in international markets, with a preference for the South African market. - Functional skills in international market research, digital marketing, CRM tools, website localization, and strategic planning. - Behavioral skills such as strong communication, cross-cultural sensitivity, analytical mindset, proactiveness, collaboration, and results orientation.
