As the D2C Head at our company, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire online customer journey, starting from the initial interaction to fostering repeat purchases. Your primary focus will be on managing Shopify, executing performance marketing strategies, enhancing the website, and optimizing conversions. Your role goes beyond managing a store as you will be instrumental in establishing a formidable online brand presence. Your key responsibilities will include taking complete ownership of Shopify, handling both backend setup and frontend optimization. You will develop and execute SEO and Email Marketing campaigns to drive organic growth. Additionally, you will research, test, and implement growth strategies to elevate D2C revenue. Collaboration with designers and developers will be crucial for enhancing the website and ensuring an improved user experience. You will also be tasked with planning, executing, and optimizing paid ads and various performance marketing campaigns (Meta, Google, etc.). Analyzing competitor websites to identify opportunities and staying abreast of industry trends will be part of your responsibilities. Coordination with operations to ensure seamless order fulfillment and exceptional customer experience will also be a key aspect of your role. Monitoring, analyzing, and reporting key performance indicators such as traffic, conversion rates, ROAS, CAC, and retention will also fall under your purview. The ideal candidate for this role must possess hands-on expertise in Shopify, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of both technical and operational aspects. A strong background in D2C marketplace management is essential. Additionally, you should have a solid grasp of SEO, Email Marketing, and Website Analytics. Knowledge of Paid Ads, Performance Marketing, and CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) is crucial. Competitor research and benchmarking skills are also required. A data-driven mindset coupled with strong problem-solving abilities is highly valued. The minimum requirement for this position is 4-6 years of experience in E-commerce/D2C, preferably in skincare, beauty, or FMCG sectors.
