As a Website Designer & Builder, you will be responsible for transforming client requirements into clear, functional wireframes and engaging, high-fidelity mockups. You will map out site structures, navigation, and content flow to ensure an intuitive and user-friendly experience. Using the Odoo website builder, you will bring your designs to life by leveraging its drag-and-drop functionality, customizing blocks, and applying styling to create responsive, visually appealing websites that align perfectly with design specifications. Your focus will be on applying best practices in User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) design, emphasizing visual hierarchy, accessibility, and overall user satisfaction. We are seeking individuals with a strong portfolio showcasing the ability to create compelling website designs, including examples of wireframes and mockups that demonstrate the design process. You should have a solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and responsive design. While previous experience with Odoo's website framework is helpful, it is not strictly required. We are looking for quick learners who are eager to master new platforms. A keen eye for aesthetics, a strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout are essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also necessary to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively. This is a full-time freelance opportunity for project-based work, with the potential to transition into a full-time employee role. The position requires on-site work at a Bhive Workspace in Bangalore for 2-3 days per week. Freelancers will work directly with a Belgian company and are responsible for handling their own taxes.
