As a Senior Application Developer based in Gurgaon, India, your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain QL2's data acquisition solutions. This crucial role demands that data acquisition applications are developed consistently and in alignment with company and industry standards in terms of quality and timelines. Comprehensive training will be provided to support you in mastering your responsibilities effectively. Your essential job functions will include developing solutions utilizing WebQL (QL2's proprietary technology), Selenium, and Python to crawl and extract data from various web sources. You will also be responsible for configuring solutions using QL2's hosted platform, identifying suitable tools and technologies, and collaborating with engineering teams to enhance existing applications. Furthermore, you will work closely with other divisions to enhance customer satisfaction, conduct unit tests, and ensure effective communication with teams both locally and remotely. To excel in this role, you should possess a B.Tech/MCA degree with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience. A fundamental understanding of Web Data Extraction and its associated challenges is essential, while previous experience in Web Data Extraction using any technology and proficiency in Python would be advantageous. Additionally, a solid grasp of HTTP, familiarity with JavaScript and other scripting languages, strong database knowledge, and proficient SQL skills are required. Your ability to adapt to new technologies, conduct competitive analysis, offer implementation recommendations, and demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills will be key to your success. Your proven track record in problem identification, analysis, and resolution will be highly valued.
