Location: Bengaluru, Mumbai & Pune A Middleware Administrator plays a crucial role in managing and coordinating the complex internal systems within a company's IT infrastructure. Here are some key responsibilities and duties typically associated with this role: Responsibilities: Installing, configuring, and maintaining middleware software and platforms: Ensuring that middleware applications are set up correctly and function smoothly, especially WebSphere, JBoss, Tomcat, Apache & Weblogic Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues: Keeping an eye on system performance and resolving any issues that arise. Performing regular system upgrades: Ensuring that middleware systems are up-to-date and running optimally. Developing and implementing optimization strategies: Improving the efficiency and performance of middleware systems. Documenting configurations and processes: Keeping detailed records of middleware setups and procedures for future reference. Collaborating with IT staff: Working with other IT professionals to design and implement cross-functional projects. Providing technical support and guidance: Assisting users and other IT staff with middleware-related issues. Ensuring compliance with IT security policies: Making sure that middleware systems adhere to security protocols. Creating and maintaining disaster recovery plans: Preparing for potential data loss scenarios by having backup plans in place. You will be part of a high-performance EAS Functional Apps IT team. Functional Apps includes Enterprise and business productivity applications used by various Agilent functions (viz. Sales, Field, Marketing, HR, Finance, IT, Tax, WPS, SCQ & Legal, CIM, Fusion, Ariba, Incentive comp (ICM) and FileNet) As an IT lead for IDM, you'll be overall responsible for IDM suite of applications, including architecture, application support, design, development, and implementation of various projects adhering to Agilent s change management, compliance controls and policies. Technical Expertise: Demonstrated hands on technology experience in Oracle IDM Applications (OIM, OAM, OUD, OHS, BI Publisher). Oracle 12C suite of applications including weblogic. Have good SQL & Unix skills. Experience working with outsourced delivery organizations. Strong understanding of IT Application Management principles & architecture Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex business requirements and design effective solutions. Project Management: Experience in managing medium to large-scale projects and leading technical teams including vendor management.
