Key Responsibilities Develop and optimize WebGL-based 3D applications and visualizations. Collaborate with UI/UX designers to integrate 3D models, animations, and interactions into web applications. Ensure the performance and stability of WebGL content across multiple browsers and devices. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that is optimized for speed and rendering performance. Create interactive 3D visualizations, animations, and simulations using WebGL and related technologies (e.g., Three.js, GLTF, Shaders). Troubleshoot and debug issues related to rendering, performance, and cross-browser compatibility. Implement best practices for responsive design to ensure that 3D content looks great on desktops, tablets, and mobile devices. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in WebGL, 3D web development, and related technologies. Requirements Proven experience with WebGL and 3D rendering on the web. Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 with a focus on performance and optimization. Experience working with libraries such as Three.js, Babylon.js, or other 3D rendering frameworks. Familiarity with WebVR, WebXR, and WebAssembly for creating immersive experiences is a plus. Experience in developing complex 3D graphics, shaders, and visualizations for web applications. Proficiency in optimizing web applications for performance, including managing memory, reducing load times, and improving frame rates. Ability to work collaboratively with designers, front-end developers, and other stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail, particularly in debugging rendering issues. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in an agile team environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience with 3D modeling and design tools like Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max. Knowledge of GLSL shaders, custom 3D animations, and physics simulations in the browser. Familiarity with game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine for web integration. Understanding of Node.js, Webpack, and other front-end build tools. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
