We are searching for an experienced Senior ML/Back-End Engineer who possesses a solid foundation in cloud architecture, AI/ML systems, and large-scale distributed applications. Your role will involve collaborating with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to create, deploy, and manage production-grade AI/ML solutions essential for mission-critical systems. As a Senior Engineer, you will oversee the end-to-end architecture, development, and optimization of ML-enabled platforms. Additionally, you will lead key initiatives, mentor team members, and promote best practices throughout the organization. Requirements: - Hold an MS or PhD in Computer Science or a related field - Possess 5 to 10 years of industry experience as a Back-End Engineer, ML Engineer, or Research Engineer - Demonstrate deep functional knowledge and hands-on experience with technologies such as AWS or GCP cloud services, RESTful Web Services, and Containerization (Docker, ECS, Kubernetes) - Familiarity with modern AI tools like LLMs, Embedding models, and vector databases - Experience with AI/ML Ops tools and platforms (e.g. AWS Bedrock, GCP Vertex AI, Databricks) - Understanding of basic Data Science concepts - Proficiency in architecting and implementing large-scale, highly integrated, distributed user-facing applications and tools - Experience with version control tools like Git - Ability to implement a resilient web architecture - Strong background in building web products from end to end, with a deep understanding of web principles and best practices - Experience in building AI applications or familiarity with Machine Learning and Deep Learning concepts - Knowledge or experience in time series analysis - Advanced Data Science skills, including familiarity with financial datasets and fine-tuning ML/DL models - Capable of working on a hybrid model, commuting 3 days a week to an office in Bangalore Job Responsibilities: - Collaborate with an agile scrum team, demonstrating progress through proof of concept, sandboxing, and prototyping - Architect and design scalable, maintainable, secure, and reusable strategic solutions - Deploy, monitor, and manage ML models in production environments using MLOps best practices - Work closely with data scientists to transition models from development to production efficiently - Optimize ML models and infrastructure for efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness - Design and implement frameworks and tools to empower other developers and non-technical colleagues - Estimate timelines, perform task breakdown, scoping, design, and implementation for mid-to-large scale products and complex multi-month deliverables - Lead key team initiatives by managing and improving the entire software development life cycle - Identify opportunities to enhance quality and efficiency from initial ideation to deployment - Communicate progress, share knowledge, and evangelize best practices across multiple groups - Conduct code reviews for peers, contributing to collaborative working models - Recommend approaches to solving complex problems using new technologies to achieve goals - Own, deploy, monitor, and operate large-scale production systems distributed globally - Lead and mentor junior engineers in building production-grade systems and applications that scale and perform - Serve as a technical liaison to business teams, translating business needs into technical solutions What we offer: At GlobalLogic, we prioritize a culture of caring, continuous learning and development, interesting and meaningful work, balance and flexibility, and a high-trust organization.
