Web Developer (Learning Management System)

You are looking to join StarRez's Learning & Content team as a Front-End Developer. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for StarRez clients and end users in Zendesk, Absorb LMS, and Pendo. To excel in this position, you will need a strong understanding of web development technologies, excellent project management skills, and a keen eye for design. **Key Responsibilities:** - Translate custom designs into functional, responsive, cross-browser compatible web experiences within Zendesk, Absorb LMS, and Pendo - Lead large-scale development projects including planning and estimates, coordinating with project teams and executing with limited guidance - Build flexible, scalable, and maintainable websites and solutions - Provide strategic insights and reviews of design solutions prior to development - Handle version control (Git) and continuous integration deployments of code between development, staging, and production environments - Participate in code reviews to ensure the highest code quality and continuous improvement - Stay updated with the latest trends and innovations in web development - Implement best practices for semantic markup and browser code execution to support SEO and site performance metrics **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field - 3+ years of experience as a Web Developer in a professional work environment - Highly proficient in HTML5, CSS3, SASS, JavaScript, jQuery - Experience with Learning Management Systems (Absorb LMS is a plus) - Experience with Pendo.io guides is a plus - Experience with video editing and production (Adobe Premiere or Techsmith Camtasia) is a plus - Ability to work with REST APIs, JSON, and webhooks is a plus - Ability to develop responsive websites with a mobile-first approach - Ability to create custom JavaScript animations, transitions, and micro interactions - Track record of writing clean, understandable, cross-browser, and cross-device compatible code StarRez offers a compelling opportunity to be part of a team that values its members and fosters growth and development.
