Web Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress-based websites, themes, and plugins.
• Customize, and maintain WordPress websites, ensuring they are functional, responsive, and visually appealing.
• Collaborate with Product Manager to deliver high-quality websites that meet client specifications.
• Integrate content into WordPress themes, ensuring seamless user experiences.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues promptly to maintain optimal website performance.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices to enhance website functionality and design.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients and team members as needed.
• Continuously test, debug, and improve website performance, load times, and overall user experience.
• Configure and customize WordPress core and backend functionality.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance website functionality.
• Conduct performance testing and optimization to improve website speed and responsiveness.
• Implement best practices for SEO to enhance the website's visibility on search engines.
• Implement security best practices to protect websites from vulnerabilities and attacks.
• Maintain detailed documentation of code, configurations, and processes.
• Provide clear and comprehensive documentation for clients and internal teams.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer or similar role.
• Proficiency in WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin development.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Familiarity with website architecture, aesthetics, and user experience principles.
• Ability to work with third-party APIs and integrations.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative team player.
• Bachelors degree in computer science, Web Development, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer, with a portfolio showcasing previous projects.
• Knowledge of web performance optimization and SEO best practices.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
