Web Developer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for developing brand Websites on WordPress and assisting sales staff, account managers, and others in requirements gathering, web project planning, and technical queries. Your role will involve managing basic website hosting, customizing template-based designs using CSS, HTML5, and JQuery, and ensuring elements are correctly placed in the design. Key Responsibilities: - Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience in web development is required - Substantial experience with PHP, MySQL, HTML/CSS, intermediate JavaScript, DNS, and Linux - Proficiency in developing for WordPress and a good design sense - Strong understanding of PHP back-end development and front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery - Advanced knowledge of WordPress and the ability to work with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML) - Familiarity with change control systems, particularly Git, is a plus - Knowledge of Server Management, Domain Management, and Website Hosting - Experience in integrating PSD files into WordPress, customizing pre-developed templates, and monitoring server health and uptime - Collaborating with design, strategy, and sales teams for client website projects - Supporting current client websites and participating in company-wide and team meetings - Attending on-site and off-site client meetings - Working with 3rd-party APIs and services, as well as Shopify plugins Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience - Strong understanding of PHP, MySQL, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and Linux - Proficiency in WordPress development and design principles - Knowledge of RESTful APIs, Git, Server Management, and Domain Management - Experience with website hosting and server monitoring - Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively verbally,
