Job Description The Creative Business Development Executive specializes in developing new accounts and increasing the business of existing accounts. Identifies prospects’ advertising, marketing, and business issues and matches these with agency capabilities and ideas. Develops strategies and tactics for pursuing selected prospects. Participates in sales presentations, negotiations, and sales closings. Knowledge & Experience: General Sales Skills: Prospecting, Lead Generation, Appointment Setting, Sales Planning, Selling to Customer Needs, Closing; Experience in working with senior-level executives across an organization; Minimum 2 years of business development/sales experience; Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to analyze data and make recommendations from insights; Advanced analytical capabilities; Strong communication skills; Established presentation skills; Willingness/ability to travel required Experience with financial analysis and the ability to assess the prospective profitability of programs The objective of this role Identify and evaluate potential sales leads through networking and online research. Communicate effectively to foster relationships with new and existing partners. Plan and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. Build a deep understanding of our products and present them effectively to clients. Responsibilities Respond promptly to any issues that directly affect sales. Hire, onboard and train new team members in the sales team. Directly oversee the growth of assigned markets and clients. Represent the company at industry events, meetings and conferences. Track and analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth. Achieve monthly sales targets with demonstrable key performance indicators (KPIs). Present monthly and quarterly sales reports to senior board members and investors. Required skills and qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, sales or a related field. 2 to 3 years of experience in sales or business development roles. Effective communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients. Adept in networking, project management and problem-solving. Possesses strong creative and strategic thinking skills to develop effective sales strategies through delegation, prioritisation and execution for business growth. Ability to adapt to the company’s culture effectively and lead other teams. Preferred skills and qualifications A master's degree in business administration, marketing or related fields. Ability to work collaboratively with other teams and good leadership skills to manage, motivate and lead the team to achieve desired outcomes. Sales and Revenue Generation: Working closely with sales teams to drive revenue growth through new business opportunities. This includes developing sales strategies, participating in client meetings, and supporting sales efforts to close deals and achieve revenue targets. Networking and Relationship Building: Actively engaging in networking activities to expand the company's network of contacts and identify new business opportunities. This may involve attending industry events, conferences, and trade shows, as well as leveraging personal and professional connections to build relationships. Key Responsibilities: Creative Conceptualization: Understand project requirements and brainstorm creative visual solutions. Graphic Design & Layout: Create designs for digital and print media, including social media graphics, advertisements, brochures, packaging, websites, and branding materials. Design layouts for magazines, brochures, websites, or other media according to project needs. Ensure that all designs adhere to brand guidelines and visual consistency. Software Proficiency: Use design tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.), Sketch, Figma, or other design software to create high-quality visuals. May also use video editing or animation software, depending on the scope of the project. Collaboration: Work closely with other creative professionals such as graphic designers, UI/UX designers, animators, and photographers. Skills Required: Creativity & Artistic Skills: Strong sense of design principles, including color theory, typography, composition, and visual hierarchy. Ability to visualize abstract ideas and turn them into concrete designs. Technical Proficiency: Expertise in design software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDRAW, Figma, or Sketch. Knowledge of web design principles and multimedia platforms (for digital projects). Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate ideas visually and verbally. Good listening skills to understand client or project requirements clearly. Problem-Solving: Ability to work through creative challenges and find innovative solutions to design problems.
