Job Title: TIG Welder Location: Bangalore Job Type: Full-Time Department: Fabrication Reports To: Fabrication Manager Salary: 20,000 to 22,000 Job Summary: We seek a skilled and detail-oriented TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) Welder to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience welding a variety of metals, including stainless steel and aluminium, with a strong focus on precision and quality. This role requires a strong understanding of welding techniques, blueprints, and safety protocols. Key Responsibilities: Perform TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminium, and other metals according to specifications Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols Set up and operate TIG welding equipment and tools Inspect welds for accuracy and quality, using measuring instruments and visual inspection Follow safety standards and wear appropriate PPE at all times Maintain a clean and organised work area Work closely with fabrication and engineering teams to ensure products meet required standards Perform grinding, deburring, and other finishing tasks as needed Report any defects or equipment issues to the supervisor Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred) Minimum 2 years of experience as a TIG welder Proficiency in welding aluminium and stainless steel Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work Knowledge of welding safety standards and procedures Physical ability to lift up to [X] lbs and stand for extended periods Welding certification (preferred but not required) Preferred Skills: Experience in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment Familiarity with other welding processes (MIG, Stick) Ability to operate basic fabrication tools and equipment (saws, grinders, etc.) AWS Certification is a plus Work Environment: Manufacturing shop setting with exposure to noise, heat, and heavy machinery PPE required (gloves, helmet, safety glasses, etc.) How to Apply: Please send your resume to praneeth@waveultra.in or send resume to 80504 50424 Let me know if you want this tailored to a specific industry (e.g., aerospace, automotive, custom metalwork) or experience level (e.g., entry-level, senior TIG welder).
