We are seeking passionate technologists who are eager to lead client engagements and oversee the delivery of complex technical projects. Your responsibilities will include developing test strategies, plans, and test cases. You will also be tasked with automating tests using homegrown and open source test frameworks. Collaboration across teams to create solution-based test plans, incorporating feedback from various stakeholders, is a key aspect of this role. Additionally, you will work towards maintaining current QA processes while introducing new ones. Defining system test plans to validate all existing feature functionalities configured on system testbeds and automating all test cases will be part of your responsibilities. You will also be responsible for verifying endurance and scale testing to ensure robust feature functionality under stress. To be successful in this role, you should have 3 to 8 years of test engineering experience. Strong scripting or programming skills in languages such as Golang, Python, Node.js, or Ruby are required. Knowledge of test frameworks like Selenium, Webdriver, Watir, and PyUnit/JUnit is essential. Experience in testing container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos, Nomad, ECS, EKS, and GKE is also necessary. Proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting issues at various levels of the software stack is expected. Experience with performance testing using tools like JMeter, Scale, and Reliability testing is important. You should also have experience in different types of testing, including Functional testing, Integration testing, Regression testing, System testing, Installation & upgrade testing, and sanity/smoke testing. Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the ability to work in small teams are advantageous. A minimum of 3 years of experience in automating tests for web-based applications and proficiency in REST API testing is required.
