Job Summary Synechron is seeking a talented Database Developer to join our team. This role is crucial in designing, developing, and optimizing database solutions that support our business objectives. The Database Developer and Engineer will leverage their expertise in SQL, Teradata, and data visualization tools to enhance our data infrastructure and deliver high-quality data solutions. Software Requirements Required Proficiency: SQL and database programmingAdvanced level, including stored procedures TeradataAdvanced level, with performance tuning experience Data visualization toolsPreferably Tableau Preferred Proficiency: Informatica or similar ETL tools Scripting in UNIX/Linux environment (shell scripting, Perl) Overall Responsibilities Design, develop, and optimize database solutions to meet business needs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Conduct performance tuning and optimization of database systems, particularly on Teradata. Develop and maintain data models and database designs to support business objectives. Create and maintain documentation for database solutions and processes. Participate in Agile development processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
