Job Title: Senior Design Engineer Structures (Water Supply Infrastructure) Location: Bangalore Experience: 7 – 10 Years Industry: Civil Engineering / Infrastructure Functional Area: Engineering Design, R&D Role Category: Structural Design Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent Job Description We are seeking a Senior Design Engineer – Structures with strong expertise in structural design and supervision for water supply infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing technical specifications, structural drawings, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and manuals including CPHEEO. Key Responsibilities: Structural design and detailing for water supply infrastructure (pipelines, tanks, pump houses, etc.) Preparation and review of structural drawings and design calculations Develop technical specifications and ensure adherence to CPHEEO manual Provide technical inputs during design, construction, and supervision stages Coordination with design teams, consultants, and field teams Ensure quality and safety compliance in structural aspects Key Requirements: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering; M.E./M.Tech in Structural Engineering preferred 7–10 years of relevant experience in structural design and supervision of water supply projects Strong knowledge of design codes (IS, IRC, CPHEEO, etc.) Proficiency in structural analysis/design software (e.g., STAAD Pro, ETABS, AutoCAD) Experience in large-scale bulk drinking water supply projects is highly desirable.
