As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Arcadis, you will be joining our Water Design and Engineering team to work on diverse and technically demanding projects in Bangalore/Noida/Mumbai/ Hyderabad offices. Your role will involve leading and supporting the mechanical design delivery of water and wastewater projects, ensuring they meet or exceed client expectations. You will have the opportunity to work both independently and as part of a team, contributing to the design and advisory services for conveyance and treatment assets. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the safety of yourself and others through design leadership, technical delivery within a multi-disciplinary team environment, and co-ordination with various teams to develop innovative technical solutions based on client needs. You will play a key role in establishing and growing relationships with clients and partners, supervising the design team, and ensuring project delivery with high quality within the program and budget. To qualify for this role, you should have a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, along with at least 10 years of experience in designing mechanical and process equipment for water supply, treatment plants, sewerage systems, and drainage systems. You should also have experience working on design and construct projects using digital design platforms, a strong command of BIM / digital/data analytics software, and knowledge of relevant British Standards. Additionally, you should possess excellent communication skills in English and experience in working with remote clients and multi-disciplinary teams.
