You will be responsible for conducting seasonal trend research and adapting forecasts for market relevance. You will create flat sketches/CADs using CorelDRAW or Adobe Illustrator. A strong understanding of denim processes such as washes, shade bands, and wash standards is required. You should possess knowledge of denim fits and fabric performance including stretch and indigo properties. Collaboration with merchandising, tech, quality, sales, and marketing teams is essential. You will be tasked with sourcing and selecting fabrics, trims, and embellishments. Adapting designs for scalable production and ensuring timely sample readiness are key aspects of this role. Additionally, you will need to understand garment construction, fittings, detailing, and adaptation. Oversight of product development is also part of the responsibilities.
