Security & Compliance Implement and enforce security best practices. Manage system patches and updates while ensuring adherence to organizational and industry compliance standards. 6. Monitoring & Incident Management Deploy and manage monitoring tools to proactively detect and resolve system issues. Respond promptly to incidents and take corrective actions to minimize downtime. 7. Documentation Develop and maintain clear, comprehensive documentation for systems, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), architecture diagrams, and configuration details. 8. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with developers, network engineers, and IT support teams to coordinate deployments, resolve issues, and support integrated systems operations. 9. Project Participation Contribute to infrastructure and systems projects by offering technical expertise, assisting with planning, executing tasks, and supporting post-implementation efforts. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience. Demonstrated experience managing Linux and AIX environments. Proficiency in administering either DB2 or Oracle databases. Hands-on experience with WebSphere Application Server (WAS), JBoss, or similar application servers. Solid understanding of networking, storage systems, and virtualization technologies. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
