Our client is leading Gear Manufacturing Automobile Supplier Position - Forge Shop Head Level AGM/ DGM Experience Minimum 20 years Location of Job Pune Job Description Manage daily operations of Forging section to ensure compliance with standards Oversee execution of daily forging plan Optimize Production processes and improve product quality Ensure report preparation for reviewing operational performance and submit findings to Management and work on improvements Improve OEE and reduce rejections Identify & lead all product quality issues resolution for permanent closure Motivate, guide and lead Forging team comprising 100+ members Monitor and improve various costs pertaining to Forging section including consumables tooling etc., Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiencies viz. OEE, Productivity, labor efficiency Ensure timely completion of project as per milestones Implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency and product quality Identify skill gap and training needs and conduct / coordinate and support in regulartraining for team Essential Experience: Hands-on experience in forge shop operations and management in Warm Forging, Cold Forging & Forging of Precision parts Has very good experience in forging process & interaction of press and process parameters Worked with automated forging lines and robotic handling systems Experienced with induction heating equipment and trimming/shearing machines Experienced with different types of presses & construction Handled forging process improvements Experienced in manpower management for efficient utilization of resources and maintaining a harmonious work environment Experience of worked on Quality Management Systems and Standards (IATF 16949, OHSAS, EHS) etc. Desirable: Undergone Root Cause Analysis program/training Able to develop and execute ICA and PCA Understanding of TPM & TQM principles Educational Details Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field Interested candidates can mail their cv at pinky@amormc.com
